Unlocking opportunities: New vessel calls in Aarhus

2025 will bring exciting enhancements to the shipping network at APM Terminals Aarhus, offering more flexible and efficient routes to the global market. These additions strengthen the terminal’s role as a key logistics hub, creating new opportunities for our customers.

With changes in shipping line alliances, we are pleased to welcome three new services to APM Terminals Aarhus:

  • MSC’s new Swan service, calling Aarhus every Wednesday (first call: April 9th).
  • Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd’s Gemini Cooperation, calling Aarhus every Tuesday (first call: March 25th).
  • Laura Maersk, the world’s first methanol-powered vessel, introducing a fixed weekly call starting April 1st—a milestone in sustainable shipping.

What does this mean for you, our customers?

A broader range of shipping lines provides Danish goods owners with greater flexibility to optimize their supply chains. From the end of March, a mix of direct routes, hub-and-spoke solutions, transshipment, and short-sea traffic will be offered from Aarhus —enhancing efficiency and connectivity. It will be exciting to see how these services contribute to streamlining Danish trade with the world.
