Chief Executive Officer

Keith Svendsen was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of APM Terminals on July 1, 2022, having served as Chief Operating Officer the five years prior.

Chief Commercial Officer

Birna Ósk Einarsdóttir was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer and joined APM Terminals’ management team in January 2022.

Chief Operating Officer

Olaf Gelhausen was appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and joined APM Terminals Management Team on November 15, 2023.

Head of Investment

Martijn van Dongen joined A.P.Moller-Maersk in 2005. He was appointed Head of Corporate Development for APM Terminals in July 2018 and Head of Investment in July 2022 and is a member of APM Terminals' management team.

Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Kristian Bai Hollund assumed the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer effective 1 December 2023, having previously served as Operations Chief Financial Officer for APM Terminals, responsible for financial planning across the company’s global terminal portfolio, investment analysis, project finance and global performance management.

Head of Human Resources and Employee Relations

Sander Hubbers joined A.P.Moller-Maersk January 2017. He was appointed Head of Human Resources for APM Terminals in July 2019 and is a member of APM Terminals' management team.

Head of Hubs and Collaboration

Lars Mikael Jensen has over 40 years of experience in ocean container shipping with A.P. Moller- Maersk. He became Head of Hubs and Collaboration at APM Terminals in July 2022, having previously served as Head of Maersk East-West Ocean Network and Market for 2 years. Prior to that, Lars held various senior roles at Maersk, including Head of the Global Ocean Network team and Head of Transpacific and Transatlantic trades.

Regional Managing Director, Africa and Europe

Igor van den Essen was appointed Regional Managing Director for the newly created Africa and Europe Region and part of the management team in July 2022. He previously held the role of Head of Terminals Europe between 2019 and 2022 and prior to that he was Head of HR and Labour Relations for APM Terminals between 2016 and 2019.

Regional Managing Director, Americas

Leo Huisman became part of APM Terminals' management team when he took over the new Americas region in July 2022. Between 2019 and 2022 he was Head of Terminals Latin America and prior to that, between 2018 and 2019, Head of Terminals Europe

Regional Managing Director, Asia and Middle East

Jonathan Goldner has been with APM Terminals since 2008. He became Head of Terminals Asia in 2021, having previously held he position of Chief Commercial Officer between 2017 and 2021. In July 2022 he became Regional Managing Director for Asia and Middle East and member of APM Terminals' management team.

Chief Information Officer

Gavin Laybourne joined APM Terminals as Chief Information Officer (CIO) in 2019 and is a member of APM Terminals' management team.

Chief Transformation Officer

As Chief Transformation Officer, Charlotte Guillaumie leads the execution of APM Terminals’ strategic vision and agenda. She joined the company’s management team in October 2022, bringing with her a wealth of expertise and insights from various industries and markets.
