Our Terminal

APM Terminals Buenos Aires operates Terminal T4 strategically located at the point where land, rail, river and maritime routes meet. We are the only terminal in the Port of Buenos Aries with on-dock rail access, connecting directly to RTGs, ensuring lower transportation costs of cargo. We are also the only terminal to provide 24/7 operations with the possibility of flexible gate opening hours if required.

APM Terminals Buenos Aires commitment to security is its license to operate. The terminal adopts all safety measures outlined in its Health, Safety, Security and Environment policy, and applies these to all workers, contractors or any other person who works or visits the facilities.

APM Terminals Buenos Aires also offers ease of doing business – saving time and money for our customers. We are the only terminal to offer a Digital Port platform which allows users to perform all their port operations online, at any time and from anywhere, saving up to 3 hours of our customers’ time when engaging with the terminal.

We are also the only terminal to offer electronic seals for transshipment cargo from Paraguay, enabling easier and faster customs procedures. Our committed customer service team provides a dedicated focal point to handle all customer engagements with the terminal.

Access Channel

The access channel consists of the following parts: ACCESS CHANNEL PUERTO DE BUENOS AIRES (KM 37 AL KM 12) and NORTH CHANNEL ACCESS TO BS. ACE. (KM 12 TO KM 0).  The tidal range of the Port of Buenos Aires is 0.60 m with a maximum estimate of 1.05 m. The access channel measures 250m next to the turning dock, which is 500m.
