Our Terminal
The Guangzhou South China Oceangate Container Terminal Co., Ltd (GOCT) is located in Nansha Port, on the estuary of the Pearl River. Established in June 2006, APM Terminals holds a 20% stake in GOCT together with Guangzhou Port Group and COSCO Shipping Ports.
Nansha Port is the geographic and geometric centre of Pearl River Delta. The Pearl River Delta city cluster including Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Dongguan and Jiangmen are all within 100 kilometres of the Terminal by road. GOCT 38 nautical miles from Hong Kong and 41 from Macau.
Facilities
GOCT has a total quay length of 2,100 meters across 6 berths of 150,000 tonnage, and a dedicated barge quay length of 800 meters. The terminal covers a total area of 223 hectares. GOCT is capable of servicing the world’s largest container ships.

Intermodal network
The existing shuttle barge network connects Nansha with +20 feeder ports in the Pearl River Delta including Huangpu, Zhongshan, Lanshi, Beijiao, Rongqi, Sanshui, Jiangmen, Zhuhai, Zhaoqing, Yunfu, Dongguan, Shekou.
