UIIA Registration
All drivers who enter APM Terminals Mobile need to be UIIA. The UIIA a standard industry contract that outlines the rules for the interchange of equipment between intermodal trucking companies and equipment providers (ocean carriers, railroads & equipment leasing companies). Participation in the UIIA increases operational efficiencies and eliminates the need to manage multiple interchange contracts and insurance filings. Register at UIIA.org
To register with UIIA trucking companies need a valid SCAC code available from the National Motor Freight Traffic Association
Driver Safety Induction
Create a Stowlog Account
To complete the mandatory Safety Induction, all users must have an active account in Stowlog. Download Stowlog from:
- AppStore: Stowlog
- Google Play: Stowlog - Apps on Google Play
Or use the website version: https://app.stowlog.com/ - Open the app and create an account
- Select APMT Mobile as your facility
- Choose your user type and fill in the required details
Take the safety induction
- Tap the Safety induction card in the app
- Watch the video and answer the quiz questions
- If answered the questions correctly, a success message will confirm completion, along with the validity period of your induction.
Make the payment (if applicable)
- New truck drivers who do not have an APMT badge must complete a payment through the Payments module in the Stowlog app.
- You will be prompted to log in to PayCargo to complete the transaction
- Card holders do not need to make a payment
Already have an account?
If you already use Stowlog, do not create a new account. Log in and enroll in APMT Mobile as your facility.
Identification Card
Driver’s must pick up their badges from our front office. APM Terminals Mobile’s Identification office is located on the first floor of the Administration Building (901 Ezra Trice Blvd), and is open Monday-Friday from 0700 (7am) to 1600 (4pm). No appointment is necessary.
Your company must be registered to conduct business at APMT Mobile. This is defined as:
- An ILA Local that has a contract with APM Terminals Mobile, LLC
- A private business that has established a vendor/client relationship with APM Terminals Mobile, LLC for services through a contract;
- A trucking company that has an interchange agreement with APM Terminals Mobile, LLC and has registered in the Terminal Operating System (TOS)
You must have completed the Basic Safety, Security & Environment Training. To enroll in the facility, you must have a valid Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC). For further information and to apply, visit www.twicprogram.tsa.dhs.gov
You must upload at least one of the following forms of identification when enrolling via Stowlog:
a. ALL: Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
b. ILA Workers (in addition to valid TWIC):
- A valid State issued driver’s license or Alabama State Port Authority Identification Card or Valid U.S. Passport
- Local Union Card with badge number
c. OTR Drivers/Vendors (in addition to valid TWIC)
- A valid State issued driver’s license
- Proof of Insurance
- License plate number of vehicle
