APM Terminals' investments and vision for the future

APM Terminals has been recognized for raising standards across its 62 strategic locations, with 3 more currently under development worldwide, and Poti Sea Port is no exception. We have actively invested in new projects, upgraded existing infrastructure, and engaged in various social initiatives in Poti.

Since taking over the port in 2011, APM Terminals has invested $166 million into the port’s infrastructure as part of our ongoing programme of improvement and development. Our long-term vision is to develop the port to be able to handle 3 million TEUs and accommodate vessels with a draft of up to 13.5 meters. As a team, we deeply care about the development of Poti and will continue to invest to enhance the city's role in becoming an essential logistics hub for the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
